I HEAR THE MORNING SUN RISE

I hear the morning Sun rise
The snow crackling with the warmth
The dew evaporating from newly sprouted leaves
Children talking as they walk to school

      The Sun hits its zenith
      The snow is gone now
The trees blow in a gentle breeze
Children play in the warmth of the day laughing

Twilight comes upon the world suddenly
      The clouds change hues
The wind speeds down the mountain side
It's time for dinner the streets are silent

      Night, darkness peace
      The City is quiet
      People walking through downtown
Silently talking of the day which passed

      All asleep now
      Not a sound
      Just whispers
      Dreams

I hear the morning Sun rise
