FIRST

      I lay in the grass
      Half asleep
      Looking to the stars

      She appears to me
A beauty I have never seen
      Light of Blue and green
      Surrounds her

      Softly she speaks
I am the Mother, the Wife
      And the Sister
      I am the First Woman

      I see her
      And understand
      She is the Earth
She feeds us and gives us life

      Next to her he stands
      Proud and strong
      Wearing animal skins
      Covered in white light

      With thunder he says
      I am the sky
The clouds above and the rain
      I am the first Man

      I see in Him
      That he seeds the Earth
      With water and sunlight
I look at them with wonder

      I know with them
      Comes peace and love
      Because of the first Woman
      And the first Man

      We are one
      Unified and interdependent
      Together
      The future and the past

I look to my inner self
I see them with in me
      Guiding me through life
Wisdom is with the first Woman and Man
