HOME AGAIN

      I lay on the beach
      My back against cold sand
The early morning fog begins to break
      The sun shinning through
A sweat starts on my brow
Wave after wave comes to shore
      Slowly the tide comes in
      The water brushing
      Upon my feet
I feel the sand begin to move
I sit up and look into the distance
      The ocean goes out forever
      I rise
      Wiping the sand away
      A cool breeze
      Gently blowing from the west
      I stretch
      Smelling the salt air
      My nose tingling
      I run into the water
And dive straight into the cold waves
      My head spins with delight
      I am home again
