WANTING TO DREAM


Just the sunrise
The pains glow red
Rolling down from the mountains
She weeps

She doesn't know where tomorrow
Will be
Walking into the trees
The sounds of her own footsteps

She wants to dream
But sleep wont come
Her hair falls across her shoulders
Shinning in the light

Love was lost
Many years ago
Still the pain remains
She weeps mild tears

A child stands at her side
Always watching
Not understanding her
Yet there is unceasing love

Mother and son
Locked forever
Not one
But eternally linked
