SHE SEEKS KNOWLEDGE


She is ready to travel
Packing the last few things
I worry just a little
It is a long journey
Though not treacherous

I wish her well
She seeks knowledge
To dream with the elders
Of the past and future
A shamanic adventure

Into the unknown
She will find
All things beautiful
It is not a test she enters
But truth of everything

I will be with her in spirit
I stand by her side without question
She sees the world
Differently than I
But we walk together

All ready I am looking
Forward to her return
To hold her in my arms
Feel her heart beat
And hear her stories
