ABSTRACT ANGEL


Whispering clouds streaming across the sky
Her spirit flies into the morning light
Spreading love and warmth
Forever has she traveled this world

Spreading her arms open wide
She gathers the child in tears
Stroking his hair
A soft voice she gives him kindness

A kindness he has never known before
His eyes gaze into hers and he smile
The first smile of his young life
The grief and pain gone

She sets him down back upon the earth
Where he spends his life helping
Those lost souls around him
He has found wisdom in loving
