BEYOND

      Birds no longer fly

The air has become thin and dry

      Animals which crossed vast plains

      Now forgotten with blowing dust

Oceans and lakes have crept beneath the ground

      This world barren and lost

      To distant to remember

It is still seen in the sky

      Explorers and dreamers alike

Wish to step upon the desolation again

To corrupt what has been destroyed

Then bring back to life, all the possibilities

Where have they gone when they travel

      Far away from home

      Or returning to the birthplace

Legends and myth combined in genetic memory

      We are not of here

      Only visitors from lost worlds

How many before and how many to come

A footprint on alien soil, to change history

Look to the stars, the battles that have been fought

They tell us on heaven and earth

What meaning can be derived from simple words

Passed down through hundreds of generations

Understanding ourselves lies within and out there

      Codes designed within structures

Revealing the truth of an unlimited past

      Structures designed within codes

      Humanity divine and pitiful

      Blushing and proudly naked

      Standing before the universe

The time has come to reach for the future
