CELEBRATION OF LIFE

      The mist clears

      The opaqueness gone

      She walks into the meadow

      Arms stretched to the sky

After many years of not seeing

      Her world becomes free

She is open to the new

      The wonderment of life

      The trees surround her

But do not confine or limit

      They merely embrace

All that was a prison is removed

      In him she finds happiness

In herself she finds peace and confidence

      First she learned to love

      And now she loves

The bounds of youth taken away

      Thrown out are the misconceptions

      The disdain desire

Now all of life is celebrated
