EVERYWHERE AND NOWHERE

      Quiet moments spent dreaming
Thoughts of roaming through a snow covered mountain
Bare feet cold to the touch
Toes buried in snow as she walks

Step after step full of joy
Pine needles poking in and out ice fluff
      She dances twirling her dress
Watching it float with the air

      Freedom of emotion
Delight in the sun and chill
      Round and round she moves
With grace and a happiness she has not known before

In dreams she reaches for the sky
      Not even gravity restricts her
      The world loves her
Even when she denies that love

They come from everywhere and nowhere
To surround her and cradle her in their arms
Then with her they learn to dance
In the snow and the night
