FELLOW TRAVELER

Her eyes strike out in innocence

      But her smile tells more

      The contradiction of the soul

      Knowing on many levels

      Her dress is white lace

      Her eyes deep blue

To see in her mind is a fantasy

      Once touched by her

      Nothing is ever the same

Do not pretend to have insights

      They are flailing in reality

      She admires only truth

Give her this and she will let you know her

Any less and she will walk away

She has a mind and a heart

Be careful not to abuse either

She is not a mythical being

So let your touch be kind

Take time to speak of all things

Most of all show respect for a fellow traveler
