FULL EMBRACE

When we talked for the first
      I knew something had changed
      Leaves were falling
The sun had turned pale red

      Then the stars came out
Time was passing without a word
All our thoughts were coming out
No reservation as to what was said

      Shyness and embarrassment had vanished
      Truth in seeing your eyes
The color of which held no silence
      We walked with moving

      Danced without standing
In a single moment everything was shared
How long have I known you
You have been in me forever

      Never separated from my soul
      The morning sun rose
      The chairs had not moved
      Still we kept speaking

      Learning what we already knew
      Breath passed our lips
      Repeating given knowledge
Wondering how to express lifes misgivings

Only to know they didnt matter
Hands reached out at the time
      Touching lightly
Then a full embrace of what has always been
