The night has come
The streets fall silent
Creatures come down from the trees
Some with horns, others just fur

Will the night bring terror
Animals of all kinds
Stirring from house to house
Some aliens from distant planets

Horror movies come to life
Blood spilled on painted faces
The loud howl of werewolves
In search of sweets

Pranksters and parents beware
The night holds many secrets
Costumes may bring delight
But the demons will play under the moon
