LOGIC FLAWED

      When time began

      Not so long ago

The world was only new to me

Eyes that saw good and sweetness

The minutes passed with each thought

      The world kept changing

      Malleable and in motion

Never relenting, as I tried to keep pace

Then in a swirl and with a whirl

      My mind began to spin

      Somewhat out of control

The struggle I found myself in

One of logic and rational thought

      Turned to dismay and confusion

      Twisted in its weird delight

Like the wind there was no remorse

      Without understanding just constant flux

Stepping forward and side to side

Where was direction in this world

      It had forgotten me

Left me behind to dangle from a cliff

So there I hung wondering why

What was left, where do I go

Another step, that was a leap

      Flying, soaring through the air

      Yet all the time falling

Up or down I could know

My mind was a flounder in a land of concrete

      Waiting for the ground

Then for me to make my mark

      With impact, without a sound

Then I heard thunder and time began anew

The cycle unbroken as I walked though

      This world ever changing

      As I remained the same

Full of logic, flawed and linear
