Did you see the moon rise
Watching the stars disappear behind the light
Take the time to look up while walking
Down the street in this busy life

What have you done to see the world
In all its beauty and feel the love all around
Did you hold the hand of a friend
Tell them of the special place they have in your heart

Take a moment to ponder the wonders
Some many of which surround you each day
Watch the small step of a child
Or listen to the stories of the elderly

Why does the world spin like your mind
When you can slow it down
Just take a moment and look around
See the life that is yours to share
