A MOMENT PASSING APART


Has it been so long
Since I have seen the glimmering
Of your eyes as we hold each other close
A flower bloomed this morning in the dawn

Again the mountains glowed with the sun
Visions we shared, I now see alone
To touch your hand and squeeze it tight
Embracing your waist as we walk

Only days have passed
An eternity passing in a moments time
Soon you will return
Then we will begin again

Like each day a new sunrise
My love for you grows
Apart or together it matters not
Words and thoughts merged as one

Our love is a gift
To and from one another
It brings peace to our hearts
A foundation solid and mature
