Pale orange light peeks through the window

Warmth on my back, as you breathe

The songbirds gone for winter

With you in my heart, music plays eternal


With a stroke of your cheek

Your eyes slightly open

A kiss, with morning words

I love you


Our day begins perfect in each others arms

I look at you and can�t help but smile

That giddy feeling of love

So innocent in its blessing


As your eyes open fully, untainted by worry

Understanding and kindness

Has become our way with the world

A morning walk after breakfast


Let the day come on full

No matter what it brings

I know I will return to the peace

In your arms once again
