PEACE AND LOVE

He isn’t a stranger to life

      Having seen good and evil

      Many nights he has wondered

What makes this world the way it is

      Could he have changed

      What was handed to him

And found other ways to react

Or are these the lessons that must be learned

Gone are the times of innocence

      Pointless is self incrimination

      So the sun rises

      And its beauty ever changing

      A flower can be held

      Its scent breathed deeply

      In people goodness found

In time memories placed in perspective

His soul is attached to the real and unreality

      Of a world sometimes mad

      Yet in everyday life

      Peace and love is his
