REBIRTH

      The room quiet now
      The walls not as close
And the impact of life has settled
She looks around as she sits in the corner

Holding her knees to her chest she asks why
Emotions of failing in love and life
      She continues to look outside
The clouds that cover the sky through the window

      Rain falls on her heart
      She doesn't see herself
Only through the eyes of others
      Does she exist

To find herself in the dark room
To climb out of the corner
      She must learn to love
From the beginning, as if just born
