THE WIND

The wind swirled in her eyes
      With turbulence of desire
What dreams and memories lay beneath
In the depths of thought and the touch of flesh

      To hold, then to know
Love reaching forward in quiet motion
She walks like a whisper in the night
Her words look inside those around her

The wind subsides to a breeze
      Without losing intensity
The moment is now with past and future
All mixed into seeing into her eyes

The answers to questions not asked
      Revealed at a glance, mysterious
      But without secrets
Her embrace lasts for an eternity

Turn away and then she vanishes
Listen to the song of the ocean
The sand moving with the tide
The wind swirls in her eyes
