SO YOU THINK

      Tonight the dreams come
      They return over again
      Never leaving peace behind
      The same beginnings

      Always turmoil in dark places
      People running to and from
      Panic and screams of terror
No faces just the desire for escape

      Building lay in ruins
      Bricks once having order
Now in the chaos of the dream
It takes form and ravages the mind

      There must be meaning
      Always search for understanding
      Even when none exists
Swirling winds wipe clean the earth

      To what end
      Consumed in self indulgence
Of the intellects ability to decypher
All the secrets of the universe

      Arrogance prevails in self
      Where the dream merges
      Into reality is lost
What is left is who we are
