A TOUCH OF YOU


When I listen to your voice

Soft memories intrigue my imagination

A longing to be held

Light moments suspended in dreams


With a kiss, the world expands

Into mysteries of unknown emotional travel

Hidden thoughts long dismissed surface

A melding of body and spirit


I know love for the first time

The trivialities of the past fade into mist

Clarity of your essence fills my heart

Truth in your words spoken and silent


What has brought you to me

I have had to ask and then dismiss

Knowing the answer can�t match the love you give

Although we share great distance


The world is small with the unification of our love

To say there could be another

Would be to fill my mind with delusions

The only fallacy is not to feel your touch


To wake in your arms

Half asleep sharing thoughts of the day to come

We shall have these things in our lives

Then to know each other, and dismiss the universe and reality
