A WARM NIGHT

Her hair flowing in the wind

      She whispers her thoughts

      Telling everything

      Then she falls silent

      She comes in the night

      Holding out her hands

      Then she begins to dance

      Swirling round and round

      I can only watch

      Then she smiles

And takes me into her world

      We move across the meadow

      The trees bending

      Back and forth

      As I hold her close

      Then she vanishes

      Alone except for the memory

      Of her warmth

      Then I walk away

      Into the darkness again
